Room two will be hosted by Glasgow’s very own Groove Theory in conjunction with London’s favourite throwback RNB night HOLLERBACK playing 90s and 00s HIP HOP AND RNB
For those that know, you already know; but for those that don’t expect a night of the very best hits from open till close; expect to hear Luther Vandross, Aretha, Whitney Houston, Outkast, Destinys Child, Donnell Jones, TLC, Soul II Soul, Brandy, Dru Hill, Ja Rule & More with BBC Radio 2 & 1Xtra’s legend Trevor Nelson.
Trevor Nelson (MBE) started out at then pirate station Kiss FM, he then went on to A&R artists such as D’Angelo and in 1996 helped pioneer the scene into what it is today. He presented the first national R&B show on BBC Radio 1 and has continued to host weekly shows on BBC 1Xtra since and of course now hosts his daily Show on BBC Radio 2; one of the most popular in the UK.
