Venue Spaces
The Classic Grand offers two separate event spaces: the Main Hall on Level 2 and the Lounge on Level 1. These can be hired individually or, where suitable, used together for larger events, festivals, after shows, VIP areas or multi-room events.
General Information
With a total venue capacity of 800 across the two spaces, The Classic Grand is a flexible city-centre venue suitable for gigs, club nights, conventions, festivals, weddings, corporate events, private hires and more.
The venue is located just a short walk from Glasgow’s Central Station, with excellent public transport links nearby and a taxi rank located directly outside.
Technical Support
In-house technical support is available. External production teams are also welcome, with advance agreement on access, setup requirements and technical specifications.
The Classic Grand is equipped for a wide range of live and private events, with in-house sound, lighting, staging and production facilities available across both venue spaces. Technical requirements can be discussed in advance, and a full venue specification is available to download for promoters, production teams and event organisers.
Dressing Room Facilities
The venue has a purpose-built dressing room with private stage access, including toilet and shower facilities.
For larger events, festivals or higher-profile artists, additional backstage or dressing room space may be available by prior arrangement. This can include use of the Level 1 venue where suitable, subject to availability and any impact on other events.
Parking
The nearest multi-storey car park is located on Howard Street, a short walk from the venue.
Production Office
A production office is available on request for production staff, subject to event requirements and availability.
